The top of this table is made from Zebrano

Zebrano is a timber from northern Africa and is usualy imported too europe ,it was from Germany were we purchased it , Zebrano is very hard wearing not unlike Oak, sanding it is a labour of love but the finish is  extremely beautiful we have left it with the sap and bark edge which as been cleaned  with  a wire brushed to remove any burrs  both the top and edges  have been treated with a waxed based finishing oil. We have paired the Zebrano up with Ash which is also a dense timber but a creamy white colour giving quite a contrast to the chocolate brown stripes in the Zebrano this is a unique table.

We use solid Burr Elm which is only taken from elm trees that have to be cut down, no trees are cut down just for the purpose of making our procducts.

The Elm I buy comes from scotland where Elm is not effected buy dutch Elm disease like here in England. It is planed then polished then it is given 7-10 coats of Danish Oil which brings out the colour and shine.
